Long Lake is a glacier-made lake formed over 10,000 years ago. Today it is enjoyed by 187 lakefront homes and another 350 lake access homes. It is located thirty miles northwest of Detroit, in the townships of Commerce and White Lake in the "Lake's Area" of Oakland County.
